Description
E000520 – Works with all Atotech USA, Atlas and Auto Technology Company cyclic corrosion test chambers (CCT). PURPOSE: The purpose of the level switches is inform the user of one of three conditions in the solution reservoir: reservoir empty (alarm), reservoir low (warning), and reservoir full. Only a cabinet with PC controls will have a reservoir full level switch. FUNCTION: As solution in the reservoir is consumed during a test and reaches each level switch, the cabinet controls will receive a signal. In the case of the low level switch being reached, a warning message is displayed on either the Video Control Unit (VCU) of the standard control system or the monitor of the PC controls. The intent of this message is to advise the user that half (or less) of the solution is available and a new batch of solution should be prepared. In the case of the empty level switch being reached, an alarm message is displayed and the cabinet is shut down until solution is added. On a cabinet equipped with PC controls, the full level switch sends a signal to Solenoid #13 which shuts off DI water to the solution reservoir. LOCATION: There are three level-switches on the 60-gallon solution reservoir of a cabinet equipped with PC controls, and two level switches for a cabinet equipped with standard controls.
