720840 – HINGE SUPPORT BRACKET, LEFT FOR NC – Works with all Harshaw, Engelhard, Atotech USA, Atlas and Auto Technology Company fog and cyclic corrosion test chambers.    PURPOSE:  The purpose of the hinge supports are to hold the cover in the correct position and provide for a pivot  location.  LOCATION:  The hinge supports are located on the left and right side of the cover near the back edge.      FUNCTION:  These brackets are bolted onto the fiberglass shell. Imbedded into the fiberglass  is aluminum bar stack which is drilled and dapped for the fasteners that secure  the brackets. When secured to the instrument, the shoulder bolts, washers and  nut can be used to secure the cover back brace to the hinge support bracket.  This provides a hinge/rotation point for the cover assembly.
