Environmental Systems
Thermodynamic Heating System
Heating system designed to support the required cyclic corrosion exposure profile.
Forced Air Purge System
Integrated purge system for chamber atmosphere evacuation and transition.
Automated Climate Transition
High-volume forced air exchange system designed to cycle the chamber environment to standard atmosphere conditions of 23°C ± 2°C and 50% ± 5% RH.
Note: Automated climate transition assumes facility input air meets standard laboratory climate profiles.
Salt Spray Atomization
The chamber will include a DIN EN ISO 9227 compliant salt spray atomization array designed to generate controlled salt spray exposure within the walk-in chamber.
Solution Reservoir
A high-capacity salt solution reservoir tank is included to support extended cyclic corrosion operation and reduce operator refill frequency.
Compressed Air Humidifying Towers
Regulated compressed air humidifying towers are included to condition the atomizing air used by the salt spray system.
Automated Climate Transition & Forced Air Evacuation
The chamber will include a high-volume forced air exchange system designed to cycle the chamber environment to standard atmosphere conditions of 23°C ± 2°C and 50% ± 5% RH.
Assumes facility input air meets standard laboratory climate profiles.
Condensing Water / Humidification System
Controls & Data
The proposed chamber includes a Programmable Logic Controller and Data Acquisition System pre-programmed with the cyclical profiles required by VW PV 1210.

Exclusions & Facility Requirements
The following items are excluded from the chamber price unless specifically added in writing. Customer is responsible for providing suitable facility utilities and infrastructure before installation.
