The 700410 is a compact 28-inch polypropylene corrosion test panel support bar with dual-sided slots that position compatible panels at a 15° angle from vertical.

It features 0.09375-inch slots on 1.625-inch spacing and a central drainage channel for solution runoff during chamber exposure.

Important: This 15° support bar is not intended as a substitute when the applicable test method or procedure requires panels to be positioned at 6° from vertical.

28-Inch Corrosion Test Panel Support Bar with 15° Slots

The Auto Technology 700410 is a 28-inch slotted polypropylene support bar for positioning compatible corrosion test panels at a consistent 15° angle from vertical. Its shorter length is suited to compatible chamber layouts where a compact panel-support arrangement is required.

Slots are located on both sides of the bar to provide flexible panel loading. Each slot measures 0.09375 inch wide, with slots arranged on 1.625-inch spacing. A channel through the center of the bar provides a drainage path for solution running off the specimens during salt spray or salt fog exposure.

Confirm the Required Panel Angle

This support bar holds panels at 15° from vertical. Do not use it for a test method, customer specification, or laboratory procedure that requires a 6° panel angle. Confirm the required specimen orientation before ordering.
