35-1/8-Inch Polypropylene Panel Support Bar for 15° Specimen Positioning

The Auto Technology 700415 is a longer-format polypropylene support bar designed to hold compatible corrosion test panels at a controlled 15° angle from vertical. Its 35.125-inch overall length provides additional loading length for compatible chamber and rack configurations.

The bar has slots on both sides, allowing panels to be arranged along either side of the support. The 0.09375-inch slots are placed on 1.625-inch spacing to provide consistent specimen separation. A central channel allows solution running off the panels to drain through the support structure.

15° Panel Angle – Not a 6° Support Bar

The slots in the 700415 establish a 15° panel angle from vertical. Select one of the 6° support-bar models when a test method, customer specification, or internal procedure specifically requires specimens to be positioned at 6°.

Extended Panel-Support Length

Compared with the 28-inch 700410, the 700415 provides an additional 7.125 inches of overall length. This makes it suitable for compatible wider exposure zones and rack arrangements requiring a longer continuous panel support.

The bar may be installed on compatible chamber ladder racks or incorporated into custom arrangements using properly supported angles, shelves, or rack structures. The completed setup must hold the bar securely and maintain the required panel location within the exposure zone.
