41-Inch Corrosion Test Panel Support Bar for Larger Chamber Configurations

The Auto Technology C262890-S is the longer, 41-inch version of our slotted polypropylene corrosion test panel support bar. It is designed for larger exposure zones and rack arrangements requiring additional usable support length while maintaining a controlled 6° panel angle from vertical.

Saw-cut slots are located on both sides of the bar, allowing compatible panels to be loaded from either side. The slots measure 0.09375 inch wide and are arranged on 1.625-inch spacing. A central drainage channel provides a path for solution running off the specimens during chamber exposure.

Larger-Chamber Panel Support

The 41-inch length is intended for compatible larger chamber and rack configurations. It allows multiple panels to be positioned along a common support while maintaining consistent slot spacing and specimen angle throughout the loading arrangement.

The C262890-S can be incorporated into corrosion testing setups used for MIL-STD-810 salt fog exposure, ASTM B117 salt spray testing, NADCAP corrosion programs, and internal aerospace or defense laboratory procedures.

The support bar establishes specimen positioning within the chamber. Compliance remains dependent on the complete test setup and requirements of the applicable method or laboratory procedure.

M Series 23 Compatibility

When installed with standard M Series 23 ladder racks, the chamber can accommodate up to 20 C262890-S support bars.

Alternative Support Arrangements

The bars may also be used in compatible custom arrangements supported by chamber angles, shelves, or other rack structures. The selected arrangement must provide stable support and maintain the required specimen placement within the exposure zone.
