Auto Technology Company manufactures corrosion testing equipment and supplies replacement parts, accessories, and related products. Many of our products are manufactured, configured, or modified specifically for an individual customer's requirements. As a result, returns, cancellations, and refunds are subject to the conditions below.

Order Cancellations

Because of the nature of our equipment and production schedules, an order may not be canceled once Auto Technology Company has commenced fulfillment of the order.

An order canceled for convenience before fulfillment has commenced is subject to a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the contract price of the canceled product.

Orders that remain eligible for cancellation may also be subject to changes in price if they are subsequently reordered or rescheduled.

Returns for Restocking

Equipment or products may be returned for restocking only with prior approval from Auto Technology Company.

Approved products returned for restocking are subject to inspection and approval after receipt. If accepted, credit will be issued based on the original invoice value, less a minimum restocking charge of 15% of the purchase price.

Auto Technology Company reserves the right to determine whether a returned product is eligible for restocking based upon its condition, configuration, use, and other relevant circumstances.

Return Shipping

Products approved for return must be shipped to Auto Technology Company on a prepaid basis by the customer, unless Auto Technology Company specifically authorizes another arrangement in writing.

Auto Technology Company is not responsible for damage occurring during return transportation. Returned equipment and parts should be properly packaged to prevent damage in transit.

Incorrect, Short, or Visibly Defective Shipments

Customers must notify Auto Technology Company in writing of any visible defects, quantity shortages, or incorrect product shipments within seven (7) days of receipt.

Failure to provide notice within this period may constitute a waiver of the right to return the product on those grounds, subject to any applicable warranty rights.

Warranty Claims

Returns involving an alleged defect in Auto Technology-manufactured equipment are handled under our product warranty rather than as ordinary product returns.

Subject to the terms of the applicable warranty, Auto Technology Company's remedy for a covered defect may include supplying conforming replacement parts for customer installation or sending Auto Technology personnel to repair or replace non-conforming parts.

Third-party products resold by Auto Technology Company are subject to the warranty, if any, provided by their original manufacturer.

Refunds and Credits

Auto Technology Company does not offer an unrestricted right to return equipment or products for a refund. Any refund or credit associated with a return is subject to prior authorization, inspection, applicable cancellation or restocking charges, and the terms of the original sale.

Approved restocking returns are credited at the applicable invoice value less the required restocking charge and any other authorized deductions.

How to Request a Return

Before returning equipment, parts, or other products for repair, refurbishment, or restocking, contact Auto Technology Company and obtain approval from our Sales Coordinator or other authorized equipment personnel.

After authorization is received, include appropriate documentation or a packing slip with the returned goods and follow the shipping instructions provided by Auto Technology Company.

Relationship to Our Terms and Conditions of Sale

This Refund & Returns Policy is intended to summarize Auto Technology Company's return, cancellation, and related procedures for website visitors. All sales remain subject to Auto Technology Company's complete Terms and Conditions of Sale and to any written sales agreement or quotation applicable to the transaction. In the event of a conflict, the applicable Terms and Conditions of Sale or written sales agreement will govern.
