700438 – HD Support Shelves NC 30 – Floor Level middle – Works with all Harshaw, Engelhard, Atotech USA, Atlas and Auto Technology Company fog and cyclic corrosion test chambers. PURPOSE: The purpose of the Heavy Duty Bottom Support is to protect exposed samples from coming into contact with cabinet components such as the cabinet heaters. In addition, these help to evenly distribute heated air as it moves upward. LOCATION: These plates are located inside of the cabinet on the bottom. They are found by opening the cabinet cover and looking for the gray grating at the bottom of the exposure zone. The size of the cabinet will determine the number of the plates. FUNCTION: The diffuser plate’s function is to stay in place and separate the exposed samples from the cabinet heaters, as well as define the bottom of the Exposure Zone.
