The C175005 Carbide Scribe Tool Tip is the replaceable cutting component of Auto Technology’s modular corrosion scribing system. To assemble and use the complete 80° scribing tool, you will also need:

• Laboratory Scribe Tool Handle – C175000 – The reusable handle that supports and controls the complete assembly.
• 80° Scribe Angle Guide – C175010 – Positions the carbide cutting tip at approximately 80° in the direction of the scribe.

Together, the handle, 80° angle guide, and carbide cutting tip create a complete handheld tool for producing controlled corrosion-test scribes. Replace the carbide tip whenever wear or damage affects scribe quality while continuing to use the existing handle and angle guide.
